Thats it guys, no more waiting!
A new version is (finally) out, fully supporting Soldat 1.1.5!

Now you can easily create new bots or edit the existing ones.

New features include:
- Custom skin color
- Bots can use secondary weapons as the favourite weapon
- Bots can use the bow and flame bow as the favourite weapon

And please.. don't come here just to say those childish thing: "bot editors are useless because you can edit them in notepad". If you know/like to to it in notepad, good for you... that doesn't means that everybody knows how to do it in notepad and that doesn't means that everybody HAS TO DO it in notepad.

EDIT2: This is feking 1337 i made a rambo bot that uses Bow as primary weapon and it really does! Too bad you cant put 'em use flamer. :(

This program would make my life a lot easier, because I've lways had to text edit. Please add the none option for weapons (i've heard that it isn't there).

AHA! I found the first bug! Ok, for this one bot, Instead of typing in the hexadecimal for red, i typed in cl_Red . This creates a red color in the bot and works fine. However, your program doesn't support it. please fix!

you can! you can make em use flamer! open em up in notepad. i got me some pyro bots, with flamed arrows, and flamers!

Ok, added "Flamer" option to the favourite weapon list.
Changed installer parameters and reduced size do about 330kb.

Repacked and ready to go.

cl fix = awesome. one thing though. sometimes, when I open bots that have cl...some open with all the colors being white...other times i get a 383 or 838 error (not sure which, but something like that).....?

Hey, great program! I think it will help in the future, but right now, I'm having a problem. I downloaded a zombie package and I want to edit them some more, but when I load some of the bots, I get an overflow error, #6.

Hey, right when typing this I had an idea to check the params of a usuable bot vs. an error bot, and it was the grenade freq. It was set to like 999999. See what anti-laziness can do.

Keep up the great work. And btw, what programming language did you use? Could it be Visual Basic. That would be cool, because I know some of that. Plus, this last semester I took a Java class, pretty sweet stuff. Good bye.

redscitle: these values like 9999999 are not supported. When I made the editor I talked to Michal Marcinkowski and he gave me the minimum/maximum values for grenade frequency, chat, camping and accuracy. The editor only works will only work with this range of values.

Great program too. It was a shame after 1.1 because the bot editor wasn't remade.

One thing: why can't I edit the bot's names? It makes me mad when I have to manually do the name changing.

A nice extra would be this kind of graphical thing; example:
You make your bots pants green, and theres a picture in different window where you can see what your bot looks at that moment. If you would choose a helmet, it would have helmet.

Suggestion:
It should be possible to have own movement files for each bot (not waypoints), like them you edit in POA editor. And it should be possible to choose what weapons the bot never would use.

Phew!! A lot of time since I last visited this topic.
I've been away from Soldat these months but I'm planning an update to the program.

Scheduled things:
* Fix for cl_black and other cl_colors
* Fix for bots with parameters greater than the standards (Like grenade frequency 999999999)
* Renaming bots (when you edit a bot and want to save it with other name)
* Random quotes (for the chat messages)
* Translations: you can translate the program interface to your language!

It is very simple.. there are instructions inside the file.
But to simplify.. all you have to do is translate everything AFTER the '=' signs.
DO NOT translate the lines enclosed in [ and ]. Like [frmMain], [EndfrmMain], [frmAbout] etc....
And please save the file with the name of your language, like German.txt, Italiano.txt, Español.txt and so on!

My bots refuse to use the Flamer, Bow, or Flamed Bow...

I'm having some bizarre difficulty. It never did this before, so why it should start now is beyond me.

I have well over 50% free memory, but it KEEPS saying "Runtime Error '7': Out of Memory". What AM I supposed to do? It's so annoying.

EDIT: It's getting on my nerves. I've tried restarting already, so I have -no- idea what the problem might be.

how to made the bot use flamer? it neverr use it.......( i already made his fav weapon to flamer......

I can't select my soldat file. It says it's not the file though it clearly says Soldat on the front. I can't acess any sub folders either.

I made a bot,gave him the bow and typed his name to the "friend" section for all other bots in my team.This way they don't attack him.
But,is there a way for giving a bot 2 friends?I wanna make another with a flame bow.

Maybe I'll work on it again and make some improvements like adding the Socom to the fav weapons list.

Did you know you don't need an editor to make ur own bots? right click any bot file and open it with notepad. Select "always open files of the type with notepad" than, open it up. Its 's pretty much strait foreward here. (Accuracy is a percentage rating, not just a number. If u give a bot an acuracy of 756 or something like it, they get all screwed up and have a seizure when they fire.)

OBTW, This program is still pretty cool, cause it was so hard to design the outfit otherwize. But i still havnt tried it out at time of post, so im assuming it helps u do this/

You can do it manually by left clicking a bot file until it shows the "cannot open file" crap. Select Notepad from the list, and edit it from there. Dun dun dun!

My com keeps saying unable to detect setup files after it has been installed and i keep installing until i give up.DeMo if it isn't much a bother to you please compressed the bot editor itself and made a download link for it.
