11: Take a break from Soldat, but still frequent the forums. Soldat's only fun to me on multiplayer, and the connection here is too dodgy to do anything.

2)Take a short break from Soldat
When you get back, try something new. I'm guessing you were mostly playing around in the same old "vanilla" CTF servers. I got bored of that too a while ago. Play RS games, inf, rambo, zombie games, whatever you aren't playing now.
Playing in good custom maps is enough to keep me from getting bored, just keep it new and change it up from time to time.

I haven't got much stars, and thats why my voice sounds like a girl. But I'd say its cos you play the "vanilla[¿]" servers. u13 is extremely fun and its great that it keeps stats but... it is vanilla. So i'd say take a short break. and go play some deathmatch, if you are used to ctf where you usually end up getting mad at your health whoring barretard camper noob rusher to mucher noob lagger talker idlling teammates. after a while on your own you will be surprised to see you team work for you? maybe not. just that after a while in dm i start making truces and ppl cry and i laugh...not really i just type lol to be cool, im cool. allah!

10) I can't quit playing it, sometimes I've had little breaks. But if I buy a good game, I'll take a break from both of them; Soldat, and the forums.

But you've already had a long break from the forums...and why would you need a break when you're barely in here in the first place?
Ahhh...welcome back MercyM!

Swazo, I think you should do like I did when I got bored: I left Soldat on my hard drive, but didn't start it for almost 2 months. Barely post on the forums, and come to IRC chan more often. We're not as bad as some people say ¬_¬

Have you become so clueless, and your life so boring, that you actually have to ask what the healthy choice is to make when revolving your life around soldat?
Dude... Soldat's a great game. I check the forums daily sometimes, done all sorts for it, talk to the people in it, and most of all play it.
But when Soldat gets boring, like any other thing that gets boring, I go do something else!

I think that "As long as there are people better than you in this game, you can't ever get bored", that's what makes me play the game and love it. If you come to a point that you think you're the best player ever, don't get bored too, Go to the pubs and help the newbies get better..

That's a rather insulting first line chak, hurt my feelings a little. X(
My life is extrememly boring, I live out in the middle of a field. I have nothing better to do. Really, I don't. It's sad.
Can't drive anywhere's, can't have friends or parents drive me anywhere, can't do anything outside(mainly because of the crappy weather), school is pointless for me right now, and all video games are becoming an extreme bore as well(But that isn't a cry for sympathy, it's just a statement).
So I asked what other people would do, if Soldat grew old. Big woop, it's like asking what people would do if they couldn't figure out how to ride a bike. Nothing clueless about it, just curiosity. And there's a difference between being clueless and being curious.

Life gets boring when it has no aim. Aim for leaving the field, aim for being strong, anything, just don't surrender to the sadness.
and your friends here may be better than the real-life ones. you have a lot of friends here I envy you. =)

Well I can understand that. Boredom happens to us all I suppose, especially when so many factors reduce your options. As Gunpowder points out, an aim in life can be fulfilling. Otherwise, get a hobby! 'cos God knows computer games get boring.
Take me for example. I used to be a carer for my mother for a while, so I never got out much. Thus I got into a few hobbies to pass some time. Harmonica playing (I just bought a £27 harmonica with phosphor bronze plated reeds!!!!!!), lockpicking (make my own custom tools too), knife throwing, graphic editing, weight lifting, martial arts, cooking, bread making (i'm on a wheat free diet, gotta make my own bread), and when I don't do any of that in my spare time, i'll probably be playing Soldat. Or reading a book. Or maybe finding some music. Who knows...
As for taking a break from Soldat or the forums, even I do that. Simple answer is, do it whenever you want. Soldat itself has become interesting again for me (for certain reasons), hence i've retaken my role as all-knowing supercillious sarcastic (Please refrain from swearing)tard here.

Stupid soccer club. The surf club I worked at sponsored them, and as part of the sponsorship agreement, they took over my job, which was the Sunday Meat raffles. It was only 2-3 hours a week, but the pay was awesome ($20 an hour). Ever since then, my life has gone downhill, thanks to boredom and no money. But atleast I got more gaming time :D

Swazo,
Don't leave. Your a great guy. Of anything, I suggest take a break from Soldat but get on MSN so we can talk somehow.

Its like the end of FC all over again. Don't tell me I have to wait 9 more months to talk to you again.

I think I've made my decision, I'll be leaving the forums and Soldat for a quite a while, there are things in life that I need to take care of. There have been some health issues that have come up due to excessive activity relating to Soldat, which is pathetic on so many levels. XO
I'll stop in on MSN, or to play Soldat every once in a while, but I won't be nearly as active as I am now. (Recalls sitting at computer, repeatedly hitting the refresh button for the Active Topics, OMG NO LIFE).
At the very least this break will be four months, but if things start going well for me, it might be even longer. Saddening it is...and so close to my 1st year anniversary of Soldat too. I never realized how many people enjoy my company, and will be sad to see me go. I'll miss the lot o' ya. I planned on saying names, but it seems there's too many to list, but I'm guessing you all know who you are XD. May the Force be with us all.
So I guess I'm off to fix my life.
