Yeah it's an S3 ProSavage DDR... Crap. Any way to fix that you know of?

Nope, haven't heard about a fix.. you should consider buying a new/better graphics card, but I don't know enough about graphics cards etc. to recommend one.

ATI Radeon 8500?

That's way good enough. Soldat doesn't need much. As long as you get something recent so it supports DirectX 8.0.
