Id like to know how most people have found soldat, I got it off a friend that he got from LAN party

How did you guys find it?

www.gamehippo.com - they have a TON of freeware games and stuff and the pre-1.1.0 versions of Soldat used to be in there. When 1.1.0 came out they gave it a spotlight kind of thing and said "now it's technically shareware so we won't have it anymore."

My friend told me about it on msn, aparently he found it on, i think it was slime sports or some crap like that.

It's a site about 2d shooter «Hedgehogs in the Quake-2»

I found it from a game CD. It was only the version 1.0.5 then played couple of days until I found the homepage of Soldat. From there I downloaded 1.1.5

One of my friends game me a link to some wierd link that had "soldat" in it so i searched for it and found it was a real thing... last time i clicked on his like a bunch of chickens invaded my comp... that when i clicked on them it activated random porn sites... lol

it was a damn hype on a lanparty once, almost everyone was a noob then, picture this, 10 to 15 people in one server whitch are all noobs (including yourself) and most people aren't sober (and you self are damn stoned and bit drunk), is a good introduction to soldat right??

one day I was boredly browsing through Download.com looking for a new game. Ended up with a broken link to Soldat 1.1.3 but I looked it up and found 1.1.4 and the real site.. glad I found it =)

I was looking around www.megagames.com a long time ago. A year and a half? I dont remember. Anyways, it was 1.05, and it looked sort of cool. So I downloaded. I didnt get too into it until a couple months later when I got seriously hooked. Things arent so bad now, though.

well i was sukin at irc wit my brother then some1 asked me do u play cs or soldat? and i said wtf is soldaT? and he send me the site and i downloaded 1.0.5b

I found it on a computer magazine CD, there it was, SOLDAT 1.0.5. (amen brother)

Then, after a couple of months, I found the way to the Soldat homepage, and downloaded the 1.1.33 on 8 disketts. (I was in a library, because I don't have internet at home.)
I downloaded the patches when the new versions was released.
Now I'm using the 1.1.5 version.

I haven't downloaded the 1.2 yet, because the stupid library limited the access to the computers. Now I can only browse the internet, no java or flash works.

hmmm... the 1.1.3 game was in a pc magazine, my pc was with Windows 95. :P I've played Soldat at my friends house - boy, it was cool. I've waited for 1.1.4 and finallly played on my own pc.

my friend showed me it about a christmas time 2 years ago. I played all summer and by all summer i mean atleast 5 hours or more a day every single day. I was addicted and each version was like a new and better drug, untill 1.2 came and I had a horrible downer. now im just a casual user, I play maybe 3 times a week.

Anyway, I got Soldat from [URL] a long time ago. I think it was 1.0.5b, but at this time I didn't played online. One day I cleaned up my computer and found Soldat again. I thought "Why don't you just try out playing online?". So i went to soldat.prv.pl, downloaded the new version (it was 1.1.3 I think) and started playin' online. and it was [:-censored]ing GREAT!

My brother was playing it one day and I wanted to know what it was and I started playing it and pwning him >.<

I found it through Multiplayer Online www.mpogd.com . Soldat had quite a bit of votes and it was ranked high enough to where it was one of the games I checked out on their Top List. Another reason why it's important to vote =)

I found it in my foolish days on Liero *snort* and searched for Leiro + mods one tuesday night and voila! Soldat!

I found it on Gaming World. It was a forum about RM2K and other game makers. Suddenly people stated to talk about it a lot. So i decided to try it out, and they eventually created there own clan called [GW].

Me, My friend found it online, and showed it to me. I've been enjoying occasional on-off playing of it ever since (typically, in spurts of 1-week long multiple game playing sessions, follwed by, sometimes, nearly two months of inactivity in the game).

it was the most hated game for me my brother played 2.5 years ago and when i started to play it i TOTALY liked it!!!(the only thing was that i did not had the soldatsite so 1 year later i found it cuz of someone who had a advertisement at a gamesite and his name was something with i think WCA and i downloaded the new version and joined WCA never wanted another game!!(untill now... *UGH*i want a new version!!!!*UGH*)

A friend of mine had bought a magasin during his vacation in poland. On the disc was a game called Soldat. My friend got really excited about it and asked me to try it... and because Im such a "good" friend I tried it out. After pretending to like it for 2 weeks I couldn´t stop. I was stuck.

i played it with my friend around 1.05b (dunno where he found it from & i didnt have internet connection while back).
When i got internet i played this game called 'cossacks'. When i owned too much at it and got bored, i remembered this nice little game and thought that i might start playing it (again). I started for real around early 1.1.5's.

I had a friend show me an older version, and then I picked it up again upon going to college and finding a better internet connection. Friends don't let friends play crappy games...they direct them to Soldat.

Few friends of mine recommended this game to me approximately a year ago, at March, 23st. I guess Soldat 1.1.2 was the current version.
