I'd reconsider going back to Soldat for this if anyone wants to join me on a team. And no, I'm still not going to use guns :P But YOU definetly should. 3 gun users and a sawer. So if you can't stand my saw and nades, then stay away. But I want to win, so I want 3 highly talented people (with full ambition for first place). Yeah, I'm serious about the saw and nades thing, so I hope I can find 3 good players with enough confidence in us as a team. No, using saw and nades only is NOT a disadvantage, it's a different playing style, with equal effectiveness.
I doubt I'll actually find 3 people that are satisfied with me and that I am satisfied with. But I can hope.

I'm having second thoughts. I just tried playing again. I seriously hate 1.3.1 so much. Why is it that collision detection for me is SO BAD? and JUST for ME? NINETY PERCENT, and I'm not exaggerating, NINETY PERCENT of my hits do NOTHING. I hit a guy with four nades in a row, and he finally hits me on his 3rd M79 shot and says "owned". How frustrating is that? I saw a guy 3 times (I hear 3 thumps and see blood everywhere) and he shoots me point blank with his M79 and kills me, and not him. He goes on to call me racial slurs. And mind you, these are people with 20 ping. Why is this version a giant conspiracy to suck ONLY FOR ME? It seems like none of you have this problem. But it is VERY REAL and NOT EXAGGERATED at all for me. I think the game is made so that if you have your saw out, your grenades do half damage (if even) and your saw becomes less dangerous. It sounds dumb, but it makes sense. 1.3 had the same effect, except a second, invisible nade would be thrown if you had a saw out. This is true, even though it sounds crazy. And MM "fixed" this, but it probably became TOO fixed.
GAH. Sorry, I'm pissed. I wish MM would make 1.3.1.0.0.0.1 just to fix this. I'm sure theres a blatant, omg-look-at-me, error somewhere, like a misplaced decimal place, or missing digit. The effect is so obvious, that the error must be really simple. I used to get 3:1 in pubs but now I struggle to get 1:1...

Well, Swarmer the whole reason for doing this is to get people back into Soldat, or for my reason to keep it interesting.

Alamo, I'm not paying the prizes whatever advertising I can get will. It will be months before the actuall tournaments begin, allowing me to get as much advertising money as possible.

Also, this is not a joke and the prizemoney is for real. The prizemoney will be as high as the amount of interest in the tournament. More hits, more money ect. It most probably will be way more than the estimate. It's nice because I'm not paying for it, well, only for the website and people will be making quite a bit of money through playing Soldat.

The money would be payed via PayPal to whoever registered the clan. It is then their choice wether they want to ditribute it to the other players. It would be thought they should and would, it is only fair, but they can't be forced!

I've decided to be a little lenient and I added the MP5 to my duo of weapons, so now its:
Primary: Nades
Secondary: MP5
Tertiary: Saw

The MP5 is just what I need to finish of all those people I nade. I keep my aggressive playing style, and it works well. I nade and fire at the same target, killing them effortlessly. I still use my saw sometimes, to take out AFKers or when I'm desperate, or just for a surprise, but it's not the same as before, since switching to it takes critical amounts of time, so the focus now (and has always been) is on the nades. I played a few games on different servers and got by with a comfortable 4:1 ratio, like it used to be (and I haven't played in months, or used MP5 in a year).

Weeeee, I'm so happy now. Soldat is a fun game again. I wanna start playing regularly again to practice for this tourney. Is anyone (really good) interested in making a group of 4, with complete ambition to win first?

Heh, i must admit i've clicked it more than once and it does seem to work. But I don't want to overdo it incase they do some sort of IP check. Well, please do click it more than once, but If there was a script that did that it would most probably make them a little suspicious. But thanks anyway man!!!

Obviously, clicking scripts, clicking your own ads and even encouraging people to click is forbidden in adsense, I hear you can get booted for that kind of stuff pretty quick.

I wouldn't know about that stuff, but it probably would. Anyway I got $14.92 yesterday for 60 clicks. That's quite respectable. We've got 2 and a half months till the actuall tournament begins. If we can get atleast $10 a day untill then, then that would be a total of $450!!!

Umm also, it will be running while the tournaments going on, so it should be even higher. But if you guys can keep this sort of stuff up expect the total prize money to be ATLEAST $400. That'll be enough to give a bigger spread of winners, maybe 1st to 8th?

Ah, firefox is so awesome. I just middle-click each of the links and when they all load, i exit the whole window. Takes me like 2 seconds to do. I'll do it whenever I'm bored.

How many pageviews/day do you have, Blue Sheen, and what's the CTR ( Clickthrough Rate ) ? I noticed 'www.bluesheen.co.uk' is not (yet) added in the google-database ( maybe add meta tegs for keywords ? ), so I would rather be surprised if you have quite a lot of pageviews/day. If this topic is your only way to get viewers on your website, i can't see how you'll ever be able to make more than 100 dollar out of this.

( https://www.google.com/adsense/ ) With only 115 pageviews, and already a profit of 50 dollar, your clickthrough-rate will be outrageous high, something the advertisers certainly will notice. If you checked the adsense-policies you should know it's forbidden to stimulate visitors, in any way, to click on the ads. Know that google can always decide not to pay you the money when not respecting their policies.

In theory a high CTR isn't a problem, but, with a high CTR there's a bigger chance they'll control you to see if you are respecting the google adsense-policies.

If i was you I would remove the following text on your website :
* "Please take time to view the ad's at the top and bottom, as they will increase the pot! Keep it up guys!"
* "Total money in the pot: $39.11"

But it's all up to you...
