Hi,
I just downloaded SolDat and tried to "request a list of games", but it tells me the lobby server is down. Is this true or am I doing something wrong?

I beleive it is down, www.teamsoldat.com you may use this server to play just put ip in box at top.

You know what's annoying? Topics like these....there is one or two a week, or whenever the lobby goes down...then it goes back up, and everyone takes it for granted. Then it goes down, and BOOM, everyone comes whining...but, alas, there is a reason for this topic! At least you were new, so I think that you have a valid reason to ask. But people who have been here for a long time and still ask "why can't I connect to lobby?" should know better...

uhm, make a sticky with ase named "LOBBY DOWN?" so no one will ask again =) (btw, ase is shareware but works forever, no day limit.)

Hmm when lobby server is down just use ASE man, that's a nice prog.
Don't use lobby server anymore to much down time.

Hey bombspecialist. ive played u b4, right? As --K4=- Duke, and you kept saying oeps whenver someone killed you.....i remember. And yes, theree should be a message at the top of the lobby window--"The Lobby is sometimes down. Download ASE or suck it up."

Use Hmm against weird kills and snipers(when Im not a sniper myself).
Damn when I don't like my death ratio anymore.
Oeps against grenades, selfkills, and other weapons.

Yeah, but ASE does NOT show all of the games!
It doesn't show any linux games, and any games without the "register on ASE" (obviously :)
So I still end up using the lobby when possible.

True, a lot of games aint registered with ASE. But the lobby server seems to be down a lot at my place. I know I'm complaining again, I'll stop......
