what about a game mode called bowmatch?
every soldier has a bow and some arrows.
secondary weapon could be the knife.

there already is rambo match and there is a bug so that everyone can have a bow, and + whats the point of a knife if u have a 1 hit kill arrow ;)

if they wouldn't kill in one hit, that would be just like having a desert eagles fight.
they have almost the same reload time and bullet drop speed,(gravity pulls bullets down)
that really would be useless

a 3 shot bow would be nice.
if rambomatch is bug free, there is one bow.
i mustn`t be a complete new game mode, a bow secondary weapon could be useful, too.

That idea is kinda pointless. It's too close to the current game modes, noone would play it. If you want bows go play a mod.

What about bows 1 arrow per second and 3 hits for killing, and a crossbow 1 arrow each 2 seconds and 2 hits for killing? -.-

That mean a kill in 3 seconds for bow, and a kill in 4 seconds for crossbow.

thats even more powerful than the machine guns, and thats just not right!

Why do you need this mode? Just play normal mode against bots who only use 2 different weapons, and you only use those weapons as well.

If anyone would have a bow with only 5 arrows and a knife at respawn... it could be fun.

I think if you had a bow with 3 arrows when u respawn. and u had to go pick them up and 2 shot kills would be ok. But 5 would be to many. ^_^

And what about finding arrows in boxes?? I mean, no unlimited ammo :P

I like that idea Aquarius; would atleast be more fun than rambo.

hmmmmmm.......i'd say make a mod and turn the DE into a bow, and the bullets as arrows. then i would make a good Medievil map, with swords fighting and arrows coming down hehe

If u want to play 'bowmatch' Just change your bots fav weapon to 'bow' (yes, it really works) then u play rambo match.

Bows for everyone is could be fun at start, but i would like more if they were swords [;)]

Thats just pointless , nonsense, we have already rambo bow and its enough.
