It's located in California, gives around the same ping internationally (Because it's so fast :P)

i live in germany. on german servers i get a ping about 0-16, on yours about 200, as I said :)
would be awesome, a server on that everyone worldwide would have a ping about 16, hehe...

and a ping 150-200... when i get a ping 150 in soldat, it's unplayable. i think the soldat network code is not good enough oder its just me, but with a ping 150, it's just lag here..

n00bface's server gives everyone access violations randomly... but they seldom stay.

delete dxlog.chk in your windows folder.. that's all you need to do right now o.O

Yeah i did that but then i tried shift + delete so it would delete it without going to the Recycle Bin..then it started working. Maybe Windows XP was recovering the file(because it came from the windows folder) when soldat started, so i was using the same dxlog.chk when i started. Anyways now it works...YAY

This server is so 1337 i played on it today and i sucked and all but it was still cool. :P

I think the highest any server should be is 8 v. 8. Anybody remember that old ZT Hell server or whatever? It had a limit of 20 and was always full... it was insane!

naa i think the server should be set to 6 vs 6 and were prolly gonna make it to where its might be sorta like a dna games server with a pass but better. Hopefully no campers will be able to get in.

Server only register's to lobby.. it's got DNS, though, so you should be able to just type in cowde.visihost.net (for IP)

In that match i was trying to arrange a poly bug hunting thing, and llama said im allowed to do that, bu shady kept being an idiot and sayign crap like "this sux etc" eh beats me, lol anyhow, he basically banned me coz he thought i kicked him 0.o

And i didnt kick Shady for fun. I kicked him for being the most asshole person i have ever met. And Llama say to him that polybug hunting is allowed.

Can't find it either. I see an Akai (100mbit) but it is not passworded. Also if you are scared to delete the dxlog just copy on to a floppy so ya have some back up.

One of the best servers out there, my second favorite after DNA. It seems like even though there are noobs, there are a bunch of good players to balance it out. Anyways, I ping pretty well in their, and haven't experienced any lag at all. Two thumbs up.

Anyone know what happen to the server? I went in earlier and it kept switching from map to map, and then i checked awile later and it was shut down :\

yeh, its a bug with the maps, i was there when it started, but then i had to go to the park with family friends, then i came back and now i cant see it on the lobby but when i try joining through ip it says its full lol, some stupid linux bugs 0.o

I think the admins shut it down or something, I'll ask n00bface when he's on IRC again.

he is quite a well known ex-pro baseball player here in america, that being said.

"no way jose" is a well known response, basically it means no, with a rhyming twist.
now being the person i am, and having been raised in the bay area where mr. canseco started his baseball career, i have been saying "no way jose canseco" for quite some time lol.
its just my personal wordplay.

i use it in those instances where someone thinks theyre sly, and grabs that flag up and thinks noone is looking, and i come out and shoot your mf'n head off, all the while saying "NO WAY JOSE CANSECO!"

The only thing I'd change about the server is the player limit. For me, the ideal amount of CTF players is either 3v3 or 4v4. Even 5v5 is bearable, but 6v6 is kind of crowded. Just my personal preference though.

Plus the server is on Linux or something, so on some days I get "wrong map version" errors like crazy (and other days I get none at all. Wierd.)

Server upgraded to 1.2. WMV bug has been fixed, and the admins are as corrupt as ever. Have fun in this version guys.

I don't see it anywhere in the server list. What the hell? This was my favorite server.

I did, sonny... my ermm host is upgrading connections I guess, so all the fiber optic thinga majiggies are getting replaced, so it goes 'up and down like a yo-yo'.

I can't connect to it. In fact I can't connect to a TON of servers. I just get a "Requesting game..." forever and it never joins. Damnit.

Would it be possible for you to split your server into two 8 player server instead of a single 16 player server? You'd still be serving the same number of players after all. Am I alone in thinking that 8vs8 is waaaay too many people for CTF?
