Seeing as most of the time there are relatively similar threads around and the forums are starting to get pretty boring I though I might make this topic (Sorry if a thread like this has already been created but the search function does not work for me, for some reason). It?s not much but I guess it something to discuss while we wait for 1.2. Just list your Top Movies and what part in them you liked the best. My Top five right now are:

Kill Bill (Part One, Obviously) - I have no favourite scene I love it all, its one of the best Movies I have seen up to now!

Pulp Fiction - Once again I have many favourite scenes, but one of them which I though was pretty cool was when Uma Thurman (Mia Wallace) and John Travolta (Vincent Vega) start dancing in the Restaurant, I thought that was pretty funny. Just the whole style of the Film is cool! And let me guess what CC's favourite scene was, hmmm...maybe the one where the Ving Rhames (Marsellus Wallace) is taking it up the ass?...

Reservoir Dogs - The Intro, the INTRO! I love it when they're all walking down the street, with the music going, simple, but great!

Saving Private Ryan - Directed by Steven Spielberg, the first 20 minutes of the Film has some of the best Directing I have ever seen, along with the rest of the film, but the Beach Landing is just done so well!

A Beautiful Mind - Completely unlike the other four but still a very good Movie, its a very sad movie, and my favourite (not really favourite, but the part that struck me the most) scene was the bit where Russell Crow (John Nash) was walking away from the Princeton campus, and the students started making fun of the way he walks and his general character behind his back, and when he turns around, the expression on his face just makes him seem so helpless. That made me feel really sorry for the Character. It?s also based on a true story. It?s a very emotional film. I thought Russell Crow play the part brilliantly.

Well those are my favourite movies, tell me if you agree or disagree with some things, and don?t forget to post your Top Movies.

I have also seen both Cube 1 and 2, but I thought the first one was much better. I also really want to see The Last Samurai, but right now I have to concentrate on my work cause I have to retake two of my AS-levels modules (people in England will know what I am talking about). Lol the latest film that I have seen is Othello (Shakespeare) cause its what I am doing for English. Boring!

quote:Fyi, the whole movie was a dream.

Yeah, i meant it was real in the sense that real ppl have that sort of double personality and are schizo and dont even know it. Like they still live normal lifes, thinking that hearing voices and [:-censored] is normal.
quote:He's probably one of the people who didn't understand it..
of course i understood it. ive got the dvd.
quote:Dude...you won't even know what is going on if you couldn't figure out fight club.

where did i say i couldnt figure it out!!!!?????????

quote:American History X. And for the guy that said its a Neo Nazi movie, its not, its a portrait of how hideous racism can get, it doesnt preach it.
It is a move about Neo Nazi's. Which are your modern Nazi's as opposed to the German ones. Trust me, i did an assignemnt on it a few years back. And yes its about how hideous racism but also about how extreme people take it and its just disturbing.
After doing alot of research on the subject i found the movie to be very represtaive of the real situation. Also the movie tread the line of making it look "cool" to be a nazi, but at the same time interesting and compeling to watch.
Im not a Nazi, i hate racism, but if u have an open mind check it out.

umm that what being schizo is...but they don't hear voices literally or see the person. Hard to explain without making it sound like what you think it is, that is why it is hard dto understand. They never actually "hear or see" the people. It is just a memory that they made up.

Another Darren Aranovsky fan! I would put "Requiem for a Dream" first though. Man I can't wait to see Batman Year One. With Aranovsky directing it's going to be heavy and dark and warped.
