What does it mean if a forum has Moderation enabled?

It only says that and you only see the post because it is your post...no one else can see it until its moderated.

Yup, it's so n00b-ish/wrong/incomplete replies can be moderated before the rest of the world see them....

ok, but this thing sux a little bit. everything supposed to be public.

Well In all the like "help me" topics, all the ones in the bugs forum, they are specially moderated so you dont spam there. I think, unless there is some other elusive reason.
