Here's my ideas.

Extra grenades: gives player an extra 2 grenades to start with.

Cluster Grenade: gives player a cluster grenade, but takes other grenades away.

Proxy Mine : When placed, will only go off when an opponent steps on it.

Some sort of melee weapon: Hits enemy, causing minimal damage, but sends them hurdling away.

Alright...here is my 2 cents.

The grenades part isn't too good. But I sort of like the cluster grenades idea. Also the mines have been proposed a lot of times. But unlike others I won't go around saying some sarcastic comment and give you my mind straight out.

Yes, and you don;t just find clusters when you want. I am not stupid, I know there are clusters.

leave them on the ground where they are suppose to be, its on the ground so that every idiot on one team doesn't jsut cluster nade the other.

This actually might be useful...and fair.

rambo, you would get ALOT less heat if you simply consolidated all your suggestion posts into one topic; probably by the factor of however many topic you have open. thus, having 4 topics open will net you appoxametly 16 million B.T.U.s of heat, while having 1 topic open will net you only 4 million B.T.U.s of cross (t)'s wrath. oh, and having good suggestions will decrease that number, too.

Mines would be moofed to hell. Like, placing them all over the enemies base. Come on, mines?

in CTF games, mines would be the n00b's weapon of choice. 'Watch your enemy run over your mines and get blown into little pieces! Yippee!'

Ok. Heres the main problem with mines: Spawn Killing. Some moron would run up to the enemy base, and instead of nading them (like Tai), they'd drop mines. The chainsaw was nerfed for spawn killing, the main purpose of mines is spawn killing.

On another note, DENERF THE CHAINSAW! BAN SPAWNKILLING MOFO'S!

speaking of secondaries (and relating to what frogboy said ^) i agree w/ denerfing the chainsaw... but ppl will always spawn kill with it so that can never be done. It's basically useless now anyway (except for having fun and killing virgins at summer camp).

Yeah, I agree with you on the rest of your post, you really should've left that out.

They are right, the mines won't work. The only way I see them working is if there are certain places you can place mines, i.e. only in the neutral territory and not the bases.

and mines will irritate.. you're running with flag and BAM.. you get blown in the air because you didn't see the mine xP

Mines will be irritating, but you can use them as tactical weapons. Also you have to be more careful with the flag.
