yeah, i was freaking around in the setup whaen i found this cool option called "RedStorm overclocking", wow. So i said yeah, why the hell not and i saved teh settings and quit...

ok, the deal is my pc is an used pc, and was overclocked before, so tried to squirt a little bit more juice out of the cpu, that's all!

it may not be dead, just screwed settings. usually there's a jumper that can be used to reset the bios. see if you can locate that and give it a try. see diagram:

or, you can just locate the battery (usually about the size of a nickel) pull it out, wait 15 seconds, and put it back in.

it's at least worth a try.

edit:

or the processor could've burned out. it has the same effect. boot the computer and nothing happens.
