My Pc funs soldat fine, but every second or so it jerks, so that when something like a bullet moves across the screen or when my man is running so the map is scrolling it looks incredibly bitty. Have turned off filelogging. any idea what the matter is? oh yea have also tried killing background progs. thanks for any help u guys can offer

Get a new computer or upgrade. What're your system stats?

check to see if you have the latest drivers for all your devices.

My specs are 2.2ghz, 60gb HD, 512mb RAM, 128mb ATI card. its a modern machine, lol my old one ran it better. Thanks for those suggestions anyway.... id be glad for more though

I dunno if that's a possible cause for it, but.. you might disable vsync. Do you play in fullscreen? Try windowed mode.
