My suggestion for the next version after 1.2 (1.21) is to give all the Soldats' 10% more health.

Why?

Well, from what I've played, all the weapons are too powerful, in my opinion anyway. Rather than adjusting the weapons, it would be simpler to just add 10% or so more health to the Soldat. This wouldn't affect the weapon balance significantly, and I feel that this would be hugely beneficial. I'm dying too quickly at the moment. ;)

Well ... 10% more health will unbalance weapons.
Why?
Because automatics will be practically weaker, but M79 and Barret will be still 1 hit-1 kill.

5% then. Just needs that little extra bit to make it feel right.

We'll just have to get used to it in the end, anyway.

EDIT: I also know quite a few people that also believe that the autos are too overpowered, and that it is generally too easy to kill someone.

Just fix the damn bugs in 1.1.5, and everything will be ok! Everyone has been playing 1.1.5 and they have been enjoying it, SO WHY THE [:-censored] SUDDENTLY CHANGE EVERYTHING?! THAT IS STUPID!! 1.2 sucks, and a lot of people will quit the game because of it! Is that what we want?! I would quit right away, if I was not leading my clan! But I REFUSE to play 1.2!! I do not play games that I hate!

I agree. The only thing I'd ever change about Soldat is the bugs. Everything else is almost perfect, but the bugs can ruin it sometimes.

Its' not that bad! Just wait for a few bug fixes. I like it better then 1.1.5. You have much more control.

much more control means more ease for n00bs to kill, and less need for skill compared to 1.1.5., mostly pertaining to the barret.

I must agree with Fragbait/others. Be prepared for vets to leave as they did after 1.05. At least I wasn't especially anticipating the new version. Anyone for 1.1.5?

The prob is that not much people will play 1.1.5 now, even if 1.2 is the worst version i've ever seen... i really don't see any reason to continue playing soldat if there's nobody to play against.

all 1.2 needed was a TINY barret nerf and to make m79 as it is currently in 1.2, but man look at the auto's, heck im an auto user but this is way too much, and i used ot thin k iwas special for using the mp5 back in 1.1.5, but now its n00bs #1 choice :(
