Well, I downloaded 1.2, and much to my dismay, whenever i try to open it I either get a fatal exception OE error or it freezes. I have no damn clue WHY it would do this, soldat 1.1.5 was working fine. I reinstalled, but to no avail. Anyone know anything that could help?

Try running the game with default options and without the intro.

Now it doesn't give me fatal exception OEs, but as soon as soldat loads it gives me this:
Access violation at address BEB1746D in module 'DSOUND.DLL'. Write of address BEB17FA.
Soldat still loads, but there are no options at the top for 'join game', or 'options' or anything. If I try to click start game, it says:
Access violation blah blah blah in module 'SOLDAT.EXE'.
Noticing that it says .DLL, does it mean I have a faulty directx file or something? I think I have DX 8.1. Here are my system specs (yeah, my comp sux)
Intel Celeron 667 MHZ
128 MB RAM
Windows 98

Try changing that, and making sure your drivers are up to date, etc.
