the server seems harded coded to the default port, even when you edit your soldat.ini it tries to use 23073. If 23073 is in use the server just closes.

That's not possible. Are you talking about the console server? I'll check it...

I'm even more confused, but I have a bug with the Soldat Admin for Linux like this.. It only let's me connect to port 23073 (I want to connect to 23074, but when I click connect, nothing happens)

Perhaps not...just crated a server on a non-default port. Sorry for the wild goose chase Michal :(
