I have really bad problems with my computer. This happend before months and now it is even worser. Everytime my computer gets alot of files to be borken or something. And when i try to repair them i get a message An Unspeciffied error. I even used the scndsk utillity but it doesn't repair anything and it has also an Unspecified error. I even tried with scndsk /F to try to fix them. I restarded my computer because i need to restart it and when it starts to "fix" it dind't even fixed the files i got an Unspeciffied error. Now my computer has alot of errors. One of them is slow starting, not working windows media player because of a error and everytime it pops a message with a error.
PLS help me what to do. I hate to have so many errors. [:-banghead]

Start menu, Program Files, acessories, system tools, then click on Defragmenter -> analyze -> defragment

Perhaps getting some more memory for it's slowstartningness isnt a bad idea either..

Upgrade (yeah NC) to win98SE

I hate 98SE i had it before. Btw: Defragment won't do it. I need to repair the files but i can't :(.

Yeah, reformat. Many people reformat every 2 or so months. It gives you a nice clean slate.

If the problems still persist after that, I'd say it's a hardware thing.
