Lmao just try this, go to mr_snowman. Then, prone on the ice, then when ur proning, either press left or right to go crazy! JUST TRY IT!
In mr_Snowman's, the best place is beside the snowman on the right of him is a ice ramp, u jump go right off it into the oil it's great. Then another place is bottom of the map to the left and above the little tunnel. Go right and off the ramp and then jet to go further, it's uber fun. TRY IT NOW!!!!!

Go to ctf_B2B and get on top of your base with m79,shotgun, or minigun and prone, it's ice there too you go super fast if you use jet and left/right

i dont know if it is in 1.2 but in 1.1.5 it was, pretty hard though

yeh the shotgun does have quite a bit of recoil, and i dont think its recoil amount has changed in 1.2, so if it was possible in 1.1.5 then it should be in 1.2

but then of course maybe not :P

conking is so fun. try to get accross the death poly that is in the sky with the m79 in b2b...it can be done. ill share my demo file if i can find it. where are they?

You can get up the base in b2b with a grenade, too :)
