The railgun from Quake 2, it replaces the Barret. New graphics and sounds (sound files from Q2). I am waiting for comments, be nice, this is my first mod [;)] The sound of the railgun is much nicer than the sound of the Barret IMO.

hey thats pretty sweet, theres already a quake 2 mod that i had someone i know dig up from the archives for me cough (Ta-2) but thats wut i like about 1.2 new bullet effects that means people like SK can update there UT mod and stuff :)

It is a lot of work, but I decided to make it! I already made a Quad Damage bonus, which replaces the berserker.

It will be Quake 1 themed mod, with some weapons, bonuses etc. from Q1 and with some weapons from Q2, because the classic Quake has only 8 weapons.

I just checked out the mod, and...wow. That is very good quality. The gun on the interface doesn't seem right though, I think some of the details are so prominent that they should be outlined with black. Try darkening it too.

damn it doesn't quite work on mine
but I have a problem with my graphic card (the well known "cut in a half" problem)
so sounds are good, but it still looks like barret in the game

Love the sounds...with a mod I have on though it looks like a chainsaw and so I run at em' shooting only to realise its a barret...maybe you could make it slightly longer? I don't remember the railgun to be so small :E
