maybe we coul;d get a new lobby or sumthing? like a backup server or something so if one doesn't work you can change soldat to use the second one and the servers could register at both at the same time ? cause this downtime really pisses me off...if michal needs a server, use my 100mbit linux month uptime secure and it's usa just email me or something but this is killing me c'mon make a petition pll or sumthing lol

Yeah, I think there should be a few lobby adresses, so if one wouldn't work the game would look for servers on another lobby server.

huh? all you would have to do is pick from like few of like 5 in soldat lobby and see which is down and when it's not just use it until it goes down and when that goes down find a working on in the list it's not like you will have to enter all ip addresses everytime one goes down and it would be way easier and i'm sure we could get a few servers easily from dedicated soldaters i already volunteered

lobby servers cost money. If Michal has that kind of money, then i am all for it

like i said dedicated soldaters like me would help out and i bet few more people would help out who have dedicated servers.....

what kind of comp, connection etc. does it take to run a lobby?

not high prolly just like 10mbit prolly and has to have like 99% uptime

So basically, none of us could host one :P

Unless you have a server lying around. You could always check your basement?
