I'm working on rendering maps in 3D Studio Max, using the images as scenery files, and hiding polygons beneath them. In order to do this, I have to split my image into foreground and background, which isn't hard. The only problem is, the mapmaker seems to take some liberties with my transparent pixels by putting a very fine black line around the edges of my scenery images. This is really irritating, because it makes an otherwise beautiful map look like crap. Does anyone know if there's a way around this, or if it's just something that happens in the mapmaker? I made sure that all of my transparent pixels are the right color, so that's not the problem.... thanks.
