Soldat has proven to be a very strange game for me. Before every game, I never really knew what i'd get from playing.

On many occasions it used to prove very fun, but more recently i've played it to find other effects have taken the place of 'fun'.
Frustration, annoyance, too easy, too hard, and most common of all boredom. It just doesn't thrill me anymore.
Also, despite an undeniable amount of people here actually having a fair deal of sense, and dare I say 'wisdom', the majority of angst-ridden players are driving the community into a place far too similar to Counter-strike's hate-driven world. This just isn't amusing anymore.

Anyhow, can't say I know the exact reason why I no longer enjoy Soldat, all I know is I don't find it fun. If anything I've only been playing recently to pass the time, and that just isn't right.

I can undoubtably be blaimed for that. Incidently, theres quite a few among them who couldn't care for the barret debate, or even take one to hand themselves in battle.

Additionally, if you honestly think being a part of soldat's history makes you a credible source of practicality and sense, I can only fear for the future of soldat should you once again partake in beta-testing.

Chak does have it tough. An intellectual crowded with idiots. I've felt this too...a few times too many, actually. One who can reason and come to grips with enigmatic forces that can't be seen with the eye cannot truly converse with normal, everyday gamers. I'm serious...a lot of people here cannot handle a true smart conversation (don't go jumping all over me for calling some of you guys stupid) and a lot of people choose to use very simplistic weapons to match their mindset. They're just experienced simpletons who choose angst over reason and thought. I applaud Chak's attempt to escape. However, no matter how fast you run, the treadmill will always move faster...meaning YOU CANNOT QUIT SOLDAT. SOLDAT QUITS YOU. I'll give you three weeks...when 1.2.1 is released with the weapons editor. :P

BTW: Chak is smart...but not a vet. Outcast isn't the idiot...whoever said that on the first page is the former.

It was nice seeing him post because sometimes he is witty and clever with what he posts; glad to see that he will stay and post here a bit. I never had the chance to play him but I would like to. What I see is that many of the users here act their age (12 to 16), and tend to disregard other users posts; "flame" each other over opposite posts, and fall into flames when the other person posts a relevant and legit idea and/or position. Maybe I was just expecting more coming from different types of forums :P
