I've looked through all the mapping help but I failed to answer my question. How the hell do you put the scenery in? Under the scenery tap there is nothing-Do I have to type BUNKER.BMP or what? Then if I try and load texture it makes my whole map a bunker and all the polygons are a bunker. If I try and do like a select all and the put the bunker in it still makes my whole map a bunker excpt the slected one. Any responses will be appricated

Ok, placing scenery:

1. Under the 'Scenery' tab there is a drop down box. Ignore this. Under there is a list of all the scenery pics. Select the one you want from the list, ie. bunker.bmp.

2. Below that there is a button called 'Create'. Click this.

3. Now go to the map and click somewhere. Then you can rotate it and click again to finish.

You can ignore the 'Add to List' button.

One thing to get is the difference between scenery and a texture. A texture (as loaded from the 'Load Texture' button) defines what your polygons will look like. The texture image is repeated all over every poly in the map.

Scenery on the other hand is created seperatly and can be used anywhere, with any picture, as done in the instructions above.

Ok I understand what you mean but there is not a list of scenery pics uder the drop down box...I never thought of it before but when I start my map maker there is a Error that comes up and says
'Cannot load texture C:\Soldat\Mapmaker\Mapmaker\..\Textures\Banana.bmp'Then it says 'Soldat mapmaker file not found' I've tried reinstaling my game and everything, Is that normal? but there are no pictures under the drop down box...

Please someone help me. Im making so cool maps but I can't put scenery in....[:-weepn] . has anyone had this problem before or what?I need help..

No that's not normal... I think you're mm installation is a bit stuffed.

In the path you put just there u have C:\Soldat\Mapmaker\Mapmaker\. Does this mean you have two map maker folders, one inside the other? Because if so, that may be the problem, although i'm not really sure on how you are suposed to install it. Try making it just C:\Soldat\Mapmaker\... and put the mm files directly in that folder.

Also, does everything else work? Because I would have thought that that error at the start would have caused some other problems too...

Edit: I have tried reinstaling before that but it dident work I guess I had to delete the mapmaker folder in my soldat directory
