This is making me mad, whenever I try to open the game, get this message:

Error instilizing 3D hardware.
Now software will be used.

Then when I try to make a game with bots, the game just freezes, then if I wait for a bit, the screen will go back to the game selecting screen. How do I get rid of this problem?

I got that message today.
When i make a new map, and i want to try it out, i start the game and it always runs very slow, i use to solve that by exiting the game and starting it again. when i exited it today, the screen resolution remained 640 x 480 for some unknown reason, so I changed it and tried to start the game again, and i got that message. I just rebooted my comp and it was gone, dont think thats of any help, but thats what i did.
The thing when the game freezes when trying a map with bots happens to me when ive forgot to put spawnpoints on the map.

I beleive the proper expression is........ARGH.....with a "H" a HH sound hehe....
I get some weird error messages on the net........when playing.....usually alt f4ing gets rid of it and makes it go back 2 normal.

maybe its got something to do with your soldat config settings...?
