Today i saw over 400 people playing at once. It's awesome. Soldat really picked up after 1.2 came out.

This can be a nice and a bad thing. the bad one all you know what is, the nice one is that soldat could be improved,michal get more money and the veterans will be like gods.

alot of people thought 1.2 made soldat terrible, but as bmf just proved it did make it better and get more people to play it

Yeah, after every version, we always here this "OMFG THE SKY IS FALLING! AHHH SOLDAT IS DYING! RUUUN!"

I remember when everyone downloaded 1.1...haha...all the vets came in to sign out and tell Michal how he had messed the game up so badly. I just sat there and watched them cry and whine...then a week later, it was all back to normal, and the game grew a lot after that. :-/

Same with the release of 1.2...a couple of vets "left", but still, the game is growing.

If everyone would take CDs with Soldat on it (filled with maps and cool stuff) and give it to friends, the game would grow VERY MUCH. I've started giving it to friends so I can beat them badly at something, and they all love it. We're going to have a league at our school next year with about 16 players (when we get new laptops).

Its always like that when new updates to cames come.. i have been trought every single CS update, and after each update EVERYONE starts (they have [:-censored]ed up the game, im [:-censored]ing leaving this community!) and after some weeks they all come back..

if you ask me, updates are made to improve the game, to make it funnier to make it more stable, to make it better..
by this i cant understand why people prefear older versions, as the new ones are improved version of the old one, and also the one version wich is going to be played...

they get mad cause they play a lot one version and they fell confortable with it
and when a new version changes it changes the barret angule and lot of weapons change power and the angule so you have to trai all over again the angule :P

...What? I never get mad over a version change.

theres loads of people playing but they dont play often

1.2 was actually the best that ever happened to soldat, when you think how much 1.1.5 sux0red

1.1.5 owns you. 1.0.5b owns 1.1.5. Always remember that. In fact, playing in 1.1.5 requires more skill... I forgot how bad I was in the old version.

Soldat is and will continue to grow and as it dose hopefully so will the players.

well soldat 1.2 is a good game, but it still has allot of errors that i hope to be fixed soon

Only one thing can be done to help the popularity stay this way and thats a Patch downloader.... no one likes looking where to find to patch the game.

that lan was a "scout lan" my ol scout group in my school playing, next day the principle wondered wtf was taking so much electricity from the basement.

im not too fond of the growth too many arrogant n00bs

And the number of players in Soldat maybe grown, but the computer game industry advance with 30% every year so we don't have THAT many new players. But still going ahead
