This is a long shot but you guys might know what to do.
I can't log into MSN Messenger with my email - it tells me I have a problem with my account. I can't log in with another email I use, for the same reason. I can't log into hotmail.com to check my emails, because it gives me the same error.
Don't tell me to reinstall messenger, because its obviously a problem with Hotmail as a whole. Has this happened to anyone before? What do I do? [:-weepn]

What is the error message it gives you? Not that I know what to do-I've never had any probs with Hotmail.

Hang on...now I know this is lame as hell but....did the guys who had their account working get a fwd lameass chain mail about Hotmail checking for inactive accounts and to send it to 20 people? I mean...its just some geek who made some lame chain mail....RIGHT?!

I didn't get a forward like that...at least, if I did get it, it went to junk mail...
And it tells me there is a problem with my account when I try to login.

Try using messenger with a non-hotmail e-mail.

Never reply to chainmails. Except if the text itself is interesting*(happened to me once).
Never forward "Forwards" from Microsoft. They never ask that.
Never fill an e-mail petition. It's proved this system can not work.
All that is always complete bullsh.t no exception.

I experienced downtimes on hotmail before. Sometimes is lasts a couple of hours. And it can takes diffenrent forms, like a page that says "It will work again soon" or just complete unavailabity.
*Interesting forward: Characteristics: It is really rare, and doesn't involve a cookie recipe, a way to make money, a couple of jokes or a hilarious photography of a miniature lawnmover on a women shaving her pubes.
