Last days I had been experimented some problems with Soldat. I normally play in full screen mode and in background only have antivirus process, firawall process and the "typical" Windows XP processes. I had never got problems with Virtual Memory and the lenght of the pagefile.sys file, but actually, ever I play soldat, I have these problems followed by a message in Soldat console "compression failed". I don't know if this compression fault is cause the problems with Virtual Memory and the work of Operative System to solve it. Then, during the game I experiment these problem twice or more times in the same round; the game freeze during Operative System activity and after that the game continue "normally".
I want to know if someona has the same problems. I try to increase the lenght of pagefile to avoid OS to increase after, during the game, but it still continue. I have PIII 800 MHz with 384 Mb RAM and actually, the pagefile length is 512 Mb. Could somebody help me?
