sorry if some one already posted this, but is there anyone that made a program where we can watch/edit our demos, easilier than the way micheal set it up, cuz i don't really know of any programs besides soldat that will rund a .sdm as a movie..

I dont think there are ^^ If I'm not mistaking the .sdm are like a plot for the game, then soldat playes the game over again.. if U get what I'm saying ? its a demo...

You can't edit the .sdm files.
Only Soldat is able to play .sdm files.

yesh... i ALREADY FIGURED THAT PART OUT, can some one make a program *looks at pr0ger* that can edit sdm files or make a soldat"hax" that will change the way the demo is saved?

You gotta make a shortcut and rename the properties of it so it is like .../soldat.exe -demo (demo name) # # # # # number signs are the additional options given.

whoa kkazican that was like right afer i posted....that means you are online, but you isn't on AIM
btw there is an easier way of doing it....

just put the demo name in to the ip box for join game and 0 in the port box

I don't want to use Fraps. I want to cut SOLDAT demofile.

its a program, and its fraps notice the "S".... go look it up on google i don't know the address fro the site remember to type fraps instead of frap....

i wnat demo cutting with fadez background sound etc. like adobe premier cuz adobe know how to do stuff and like, stuff.

Don't get me wrong, but just think of poor Michal, he has a life too.

All I want is demo extracting that doesn't stuff up on anything more than 10 seconds long... and a lot faster would be good :P (fraps'ed demos aren't as smooth as extracted demos)

I'm pretty sure that would involve hacking the soldat netcode...

Making a program like a demo player with visual basic is incredibly easy, a demo editor would require programming half of soldat again.

how can you edit a demo? seriously, this is not really a video or anything like that, so you can't add like words or graphics to it unless you use a program like fraps. get it straight, all right? is A DEMO

Why should I? There is already one. All it has to do is to open Soldat with a command line.
