Choose whatever, download the shareware version and use it to put all the folders in one zip/rar/ace file. Try also not to include unnecessary files if it's too big.

i already zipped it an' stuff... problem is i can't remember which SFX i modified and which i didn't... *sigh*

i edited sound effects, images, interface stuff, animations, etc... and added a new file to add a story too and explain my mod. i'm /really/ going all out ~.~

how do u make a screenshot?

In game: f4 or f11 (both work)

They will be created in your screensfolder (default C:\Soldat\Screens\) as a BMP file.
Do convert those images to jpg, png or gif because of the idiotic size of BMP =).

Just a quick tip. For anybody using custom sounds:

Sometimes the files can stretch to 100kb and over for new sounds. I learned this recently with the star wars empiredat mod. You can easily cut these filesizes down to 30-50kb or less, or slightly more, by using plain ol' regular windows sound recorder. Nearly every windows OS comes with this tool. Open the wav file with sound recorder, and go to 'save as'. Hit the change option that appears, to resample the file to 8-bit mono, at about 22khz, and you'll notice a slight decrease in quality, and a bigger decrease in filesize.

I just cant stand ppl using the File Uploader , ur mod wont get famous then... (my host neither hahaha)
So i suggest you people host your mods on http://soldatpage.u13.net
They appear instantly and are displayed in a huge list with the mod's details etc.
People visit the site for mods or maps so theyll take a look at your mod and dload it.
Its very simple , all u need is aniq more than 1 , a screenshot and the mod , zipped.
Upload it and it appears instantly , also if it is the latest mod ittl show that on every page , in the left box saying latest mod :P.

Sometimes deceasing filesize by decreasing quality isn't the right way to go. You can always just split your mod into two separate .zip files.
