Playing Soldat is great, nobody can deny it. Most of freeware games are fun for a evening or two. But Soldat is a game with so many options(for a freeware game) people can play it for a very long time.
The point is, playing Soldat can sometimes get boring too.[:-weepn]
Good for us, from time to time uploads and new versions are made.
But playing older versions is great too, if you stop playing Soldat for a month, or two. That's why I'm voting for making new versions for soldat, and allowing to download older versions too.

I agree with this, but the problem is Michal never kept the older versions of Soldat. He only has 0.9.4c and 1.2, and possible some of the 1.1 series.

I know you can download 1.1 and upwards from www.soldatveterans.tk. Maybe Michal should add the significant ones to the home page, such as 1.1.3, 1.1.4 and 1.1.5 (the ones before were just bug fixes of 1.1).

Someone posted a link to download 1.0.2b and 1.0.3b a while back, too.

Anyway I agree! There should be downloads of previous versions on the homepage or somewhere, so newbies can see how Soldat has been developing trough the versions.

I'm collecting all versions on my hard drive. I just need 1.1, but the downloads I've found don't work. If I can get it, I might make a download website.

What was the best in the old soldat... are the people who played it. I still remember Chaos Hunters, Waleczne Czarnuchy and Soldat Gods clans. Mine was created right after them, but the people who played soldat those days were just amazig. Words as 'lamer', 'cheater' and such were NEVER to be heard. Sometimes i gues i'd prefer soldat to stay the way it was, keeping the Game Style of the old days. God bless all those, who think as I do.

anyways, in 1.2 it wasn't so bad, but in the 1.2.1 people always claim that the bink [IMAGE]s up their shot.
even when you're not even shooting at them.
the old versions were fun (especially the chainsaw!)
