Ok well I thought that maybe there could be another Gametype made
called

"STF: Secure the Flags"

This is where a team of 3 people would battle the other team in Securing 2 flags.

The Gametype would be Team Deathmatch, but would take place in CTF maps, and instead of Red/Blue, the two teams would be Yellow and green since Blue can't Cap Blue flag and Red can't cap red, but Yellow/Green can Cap Both. In an INF map, any team can be used since the 2 flags are Black and White instead of Red/Blue.

Each Team would have 2 minutes to secure BOTH flags, and by the time the Clock runs out, the team with both flags would be the winner.

It doesn't even sound like a gametype, you could just play this with teammatch turned on and on CTF maps...

I like the idea, but nothing should be implemented :) Good thinking.

i dont think it would work to have a gametype where it limits the number of people on a team. ok idea tho

Well. It won't really be Restricting, It'll be like a Max Occcupancy thing. Like 3/3 or 8/8

and another thing!

if they're going to be adding game types, it ought to be something along the lines of Domination UT style.

Basically there's 2 teams. You hit a point (probably a flag) and BAM that flag is yours till someone from the other team touches it. They cna't move and there are 3 per level. each flag you hold for 2 seconds gets you a point. In theory you could be getting 3 points every 2 seconds. Or you could *REALLY* mix it up and play with FIVE points. Then the score limit is something like 200. That would work out ok with soldat's gameplay and could have some pretty INTENSE maps.

Also, a 3 or 4 team CTF would be cool as hell. Where anyone can cap anyone's flag. the levels would have to be realllllly carefully balanced because of the jetfuel. really it would work best in a 3d environment, but in soldat it could be done. just give some teams stat guns or something. Or like if the map had top corners and bottom corners and tunnels, it would be at certian angles so that getting INTO the base is hard, but getting out is easy on the top, and vise versa on the bottom. But map design for 4p ctf is limited in a 2d environment.

But yeah, domination for the next game mode!
