Heres a soldat inspired image. I came up with this after a big soldat-bender. I wanted to capture the moment in the game right after landing from making an intense mid-air kill, where all the shell casings come raining down from above. The actual drawing is much larger and I couldnt get the whole thing in the scanner. but here it is colorized

Wow, just wow. I love it and it captures exactly what you described. Great Job!

..Judging by the fact that the drawing style of both your picture and the one as your avatar look very similar, I'm guessing you drew that one as well.

Wow, that's very artistic! You've got a lot of talent. Do you have any other non-Soldat inspired pictures/paintings; because I think it would be interesting to have a look at them.

Heh wow! I'm flattered. I work in a lot of different mediums but that kind of art-style is something I sort of do for leisure. I'll deffinatley take a whack at another drawing. I've had a few good concepts kicking around in my head.

btw i colourized using Adobe Photoshop. the background is composed of several layers that are blended into one another and it had the accidental effect of making the shell casings in the distance fainter than the ones close up. I love "happy-accidents" :-)

well, my soldat character has short hair ;)
but, tell me, how long have you been drawing pictures until now? or how long did it take you to be able to draw like this? :)

Heh, well I don't think I ever put down my crayons and markers when I was a kid. Basically, I watched a lot of cartoons, and read a lot of comic books (Although I don't have a favorite of either). At this point in time of my life, I don't have the drive to make a lengthy project like a comic book or anything. So I make a lot of small projects that people can enjoy. This summer I plan to do an art exhibition with my friend Kat Kurten.

(btw the next drawing is finished on paper. I'll scan and colourize it once I get my computer stabilized again)
