How to make an artilleryWith MapMaker, make and set a poly as "Only bullets collide". It's done.
You would have to test what triangle is good for the trajectory of an artillery shell many times. In my experience it needs to be made bigger than a player. Tweak it.

no you fool, the artillery guns have triangles that apparently accelerate the grenades to high speeds so they go really far

now i know another reason for invisible polys!!! i already made a map with the idea, you can get a nade from the bottom to the top in a series of these triangles. i love you chakapoko!

Heh, that map pwns ;) Thought I'd like to see the explosion when I'm shooting with it, if I aim too low the nade will just bounce and fall away :(

Map doesnt work for me. My soldat cannot load the scenery. Got any solutions?

mkae a map yosef, that's the solution.
thanks to you, ive got a great map already. your in a shanty town, and ou have to get inside one of 8 triangles before you get shot from the windows. all you have are 5 nades, and a whole bunch more commin by the second. you bombard the encircling houses with nades, while enemys try their hardest to escape and come kill you. thanks for the tip!!! Soulsnipa, download the file again (downloaded files are likely to break), and check if you have added the sceneries(gf_***.bmp) of it into "soldat\Scenery-gfx".

Tell me these if your client can't load the map after above things.
1. an error log in "soldat\Logs\Log.txt"
2. the amount of your system memories

Still does not work. This happens often with my maps. But I usually can fix it. I think theres just too many, im not sure. Ususally if u edit the map, and dont compile it, it will work. Compiling the images seems to do something bad to it.

I nominate this as "Most Inventive Innovation in the History of Soldat Map Making" since polygons were invented.

It's a really great idea, and I'm going to utilize it in my upcoming urban city map.

i kinda dont like that blud triangle on the blue base, and the colliders on the guns tend to kill more than they save. other than that, it's neato!!

I think you should add another artillery to the blue base and take out the stantionary gun. also I like maps when the blue and red base overview is the same.

other than that. I LOVE THIS MAP!
