I heard from a guy that the Map Editor Professional 1.2 wouldn't work with Soldat 1.2, and that's even written on it's homepage (http://koti.mbnet.fi/meitzi/EditPro/), but, wait, no! That's wrong, it DOES work with Soldat 1.2! You just have to create a map with Map Editor Professional, save it as a .pmp-file, load this file with the official Map Maker, and save it as a normal .pms-file. I tried it out with a map where the triangles were connected, so that the colors look much better, and it worked correctly for me.
Tell me if there is anything that doesn't work if you make a map like that, but if not, maybe this information can be added to a sticky post?

That's nothing new..
I think some spawnpoints or the flags/whatever are missing, I'm not sure.

EditPro doesn't "directly" work with Soldat 1.2..

I wasn't sure if it is known. As I said, in another Forum (selfkill.de) they didn't know it. And well, for flags and spawnpoints you can still use the Map Maker 1.2.
