Note: these instructions are to install a mod over the original files of soldat - to use a mod in the newest version with the -mod soldat function that will load the graphical files from another folder without overwriting the old ones, refer to http://archive.forums.soldat.pl/topic.php?topic_id=26217

THE HARDer WAY:

Create a back-up of all folders that the MOD alters, then simply extract it into the Soldat folder, or extract elsewhere and copy/paste the MOD folders into /Soldat. (note that files will be overwritten, click ?yes to all? when prompted).

When you decide your sick of that MOD (which can be within the first 10 seconds), copy/cut the original folders you have backedup and paste them back into the Soldat folder. Then go tell them how wonderful their creation is or how much it sucks balls and of course be nice and suggest improvements.

THE SIMPLer WAY:

Download Aunt Jamima's "MOD changer" program. http://www.soldatforums.com/data/Aunt%20Jemima/20033261313_Mod%20Changer.zip

then ...

Place the prog into the Soldat folder, create a new folder named 'MODS', place a zipped MOD file (or 2 or 3 or ...)into the new folder then run the program. You will be presented w/ a menu listing the placed MODs. Simply choose which one to install. It also creates a backup file for restoring the overwritten files, which can be executed through the menu as well. Sweet :) Thanks Aunt Jamima!
