The search option doesn't work like it should...
Most of the time I get an error like this one...

Restrict your search.. only search the titles or posts not older than 14 days..

I usually find what I'm looking for without locking up the forum for everybody else...

I have noticed the forums to be slow the past few days. Anyone know whats up with that?

I can usually search the subject only and it works about half the time... Of course this is with DSL. Aquarius is right, a search for posts from the last 14 days IS pointless. Unless your sentence was poorly worded and you meant "only search titles, or if you search the whole message only search from the last 14 days", which makes more sense :P

But, does anyone (admins, moderators,...) knows why it's so slow?
I just think that the server is quite busy 24h a day, this forum is really active, also becausse it has people from all over the world. I dunno...

The SQL server was not responding to our remote control software, I've given it a reboot which should speed it up a bit.

This forum's search always ran very slow (it's an issue with all busy Snitz forums running on MS-SQL) I'll do some house keeping that should speed it up a bit.
