How do you change the background of the map on the map editor?

You can change the background colours in the 'More' section, using the upper and lower colours functions. If you want to put a visual background on a map, you need to draw the background and save it as a bitmap, then add it to the scenery-gfx folder. Select it in the 'Scenery' section, select the 'Behind Everything' option and place it on the map where you want it. You may need to stretch it with scale width and height.
