i'm not a fan of the steyr aug, so I made a mod to change it to the Colt M4. I tried my best to immitate Marcinkowski's style of graphics so it matches nicely with the rest of the weapons. It comes with a pretty accurate sound too.

Nicely done. The graphics fit really good to the original graphics-style. But I don't like the sound. I don't know what a real M4A1 sounds like, but this one more likely sounds like a paintball gun to me.

wow thats sweet personally the m4a1 is one of my fav guns of all time i think mike shoulda kept it back with the m4A1

I like that mod but i agree with MisterX. The M4A1 needs a real cool cracking sound like in erm ... Max Payne for example :)

The sound is from Urban Chaos, but its the same as the M4A1 in Operation Flashpoint and America's Army. If you don't like the sound you can always replace it, but I want to keep it accurate so i won't change it in the zip.

american weapons are the best overall... they dont get enough credit sadly, the AK47 is badly overrated

You could probably get the sound from the old version of soldat, if you really want it to be accurate in soldat terms.

AK is not overrated, just overexposed. you see it so much, that it makes M16's look friggin cool. http://kalashnikov.guns.ru/ he's made lotsa guns, even if they are more or less improvements on the origional.

the mod: looks very soldat-esque, good job. that's what i'd say the origional M4's interface'd look like if there was an interface back then.

id like an AK-74M modernized, those are coo. the thing about M16s is that they have a higher RPM, but the US army doesnt allow M16s to go full auto. burst and single shot only

because in 'nam, they did the ol' spray'n'pray (hide behind tree/etc and shoot blankly towars enemy position)

michal i ask you now, cause i love your m4a1, to make the awm from counterstrike in that style please do it you will become even better then all the other modders
