My map maker wont work... I get a dumb message, I need a ditectx or something, and a bpp thingy... Can you help me?

If it says you need a driectx or soemthin maybe you should install new directx or somethin?!

I havn't done anything, it says "Error initializing 3D hardware. Now software will be used..." Then you hit ok and then it says, "Could not initialize DirectX Graphics. You must have installed DirectX or better and a 16, 24, or 32 bpp desktop to run this sample" Ahhh!!! I wanna make some maps, I'm dying man!

Is your colour setting on 16 bit or higher?
