hey, I was wondring what's the protocol and stuff is for Soldat?!
I was thining of a server query for my site, that displays the status of the server and map, players etc...
But I don't know the protocol so...
If anyone knows what Im talking about, I am greatful for any help [8D]

solstat fetch information fron gamestats.txt, not directly from the server!

...which (AFAIK) is the only way you can get server details.

There should be other ways, just look at http://lobby.soldat.pl:13073
There, I assume, they don't get the info from all the servers gamestats.txt!

That's because the lobby server decrypts Soldat's packets...something which we can't do :p

there must be a way to communicate between program and server like soldatadmin does but nobody knows whcih protocol michal uses.
if we would know, some proggers could make some awesome serverwatch programs
