I think everyone has experienced this, and I'm fairly sure I've worked out why it happens (Note: I think this bug only happens in team games, check my explination to see why).

Just a description of the bug: You connect to a server, ready to kick some a**, when you find your screen going back and forward, the server notices saying your disconnecting, connect, disconnecting, connecting... etc. Well, I'm fairly sure I've found the cuase, as I was on a server a coupla mins ago and saw it happen (on CTF). 2 people tried to join at the same time and they were allocated to their teams, so it should be balanced, but the server thinks the teams are unbalanced and changes them to the other team, this unbalancing teams, so the two people just keep being changed back and forth until one of em quits or (I'm not sure if this works) someone joins the game. The way I figured this out was seeing the server message:

Soldier has joined Red team
Bill has joined Blue team
Soldier has disconnected
Bill has disconnected
Soldier has joined Blue team
Bill has joined Red team

etc etc....

well... has michal or anyone actually read this, because people notice this bug and it is annoying when you join a server but just float around as a spec and end up leaving. knowing the cause should help fix this?

it does happen a lot to me, and ive thought for a while that might have been the cause.

I get it occassionally myself, and see it in others often enough.

Sometimes caused by an unclean join, sometimes a bit of packet loss, sometimes a full-on bug...

aye, would be nice to have that fixed! :P
