I was just wondering if it's possible to mod the weapon animations themselves, or their specifications, or if you're only able to mod how they look in the game.

No, only the graphics, names (txt/weaponnames.txt) and sounds. However, the next version of Soldat will include a weapons editor for changing the power etc.

awesomeness. thankies. in case you're wondering, i'mma making a Gundam mod, and i was tryin' to make multiple rounds to a clip of the grenade launcher (or... *ahem*... at least look into it*) without changing the actual time between shots. just, you know, to make it more realistic (the 180 mm cannon has a few shots to a clip).

i was also wonderin if you could adjust the barrel length without screwing up firing...
