ok...i make a server and it appears on the servers list. then i tell my friends to click on it so we can play. But it dosnt work it just says requesting and they have waited there for ages.

you / they are behind a firewall? don't forget to go through port forwarding..

yeah if you have a router then you need to forward the uber port or they gonna be waiting for a long time ;)
