Good Lord! Why a CD-Recordable costs 1 ? in Europe?! All becouse of the EU (UE in polish, EU in english, right?)! Want to know how many it costs in Poland? Huh? An ESPERANZA CD-R (700 MB, 80 min) costs 1 zl (1 euro costs about 5 zl) and that is... 0,20 ?!!! Why the west side of Europe isn't buying in the east?! Everything is cheaper in our country, food isn't so bad and it's fresh, natural etc. What are you afraid of? Not all Polish are thiefs as many say. And now becouse of joining the EU the sugar costs 3-4 zl, but before it was 1,5-2 zl!

Any comments?

y0da, is there only one shop in europe? which country do you mean?

the classic maxi jewel case recordables (10 pieces) cost about 5? over here and a "spindle" with 100 pieces costs 22,99? at amazon.de

Edit: btw, in germany there's a tax on CD-burners and all sorts of blank CDs. They even wanted to (or did they?) put taxes on multi-function things like scanner/printer in one because this allowed you to COPY BOOKS!
blah. Now we're not allowed to make private copies or rip certain CDs, but the recordables still have the taxes.
(someone correct me if I didn't use the right words..)

Well yeah. UE sucks. Banks gain money from it due to the ease of international tranasctions ( between ue countries ), and they were infact the true reason behind it ( banks fund governments, governments do stuff banks ask ), while the rest gets nothing, with the excuse of a united government that actually doesn't do anything - what actually changes for us is the chain reaction price increase that affects especially alimentar sector ( depending on the elaboration, today's food goes trough many passages, and each, the 'link' before being not so cheap as it used to, increases accordingly, until it is actually sold to the customer with a not indifferent price increase ) while salaries are obviously the same.
The tendence of abusing of this because people don't realize what they're really spending is strong here ( we had the lira, but we used it in thousands (1000,2000 etc) while hundreds were just in change, and no less than 100, which was already in disuse, so mostly 500/1000. 1000 lire = 0,5? ) to the point that in most premises soft drinks are sold at 2? (can 33cl) and beers + other soft alcholics at 3.50? (bottle 33cl), if not more ( in more elegant ( or just more expensive ) places )

lets all travel to poland to buy a CD for half the prize... Woopeedoo
didnt you think that the prizes are parallel to the wages you earn?
a guy in france or england earns more money per month. a guy in poland couldnt live 3 days in england with his polish wage, yet a french guy could leave 3 months in poland with his french wage.

Melba: You have borthers in Macedonia?

Yep they are not original. In here you can rarely find a shop with originals becuase lots of peoples just open stores where they sell not original CD's. So if you take originals you will have a bad bussines becuase everyone buys not original.
