Took the liberty of editing MAG-X's post to make a list of the players on this forum so far. Ill update the list when more people use Xfire. Made this sticky as well.

In case you can't find anyone to play with, it helps you make new friends.

CAn you erase all those contact that appeared at the beggining?

I use Trillian and that's good enough for me. Nothing wrong with setting up a few groups to categorize your friends. :)

the main purpose of xfire is that you can join the server your friend is playing, without him giving you the ip and stuff.
sure trillian kicks xfire's ass when it comes to instant messaging, but that's not the point. the point is the join server button (displayed as a paddle)

Just delete 'testfriend.' When you do, it will automatically get rid of all of his friends, and you won't have anyone in the 'Friends of Friends' category that is friends with 'testfriend.'

I've just installed xfire, and I must say that it's a really nice program. I just hope that more people will use it. But Tha Dogfather, please make it sticky again. It's not popular, but by being sticky it will become more popular! And since it's really helpful..

As was said before, you can see what gameyour friends are playing and join games instantly. No searching through hundreds of servers or meddling with IP addresses. One-click joining. It has nothing over MSN as an IM prog, but that's not the point. Plus XFire doesn't interrupt games. I find MSN, AIM, Trillian, MECA and Yahoo keep popping up and minimizing my games, which tends to lead to my death. So XFire was a good alternative.

But now when i reinstalled it, i can't join any of my friends games Oo
Also... I can't use the "launch" feature in the toolbar, that one is disabled

Xfire has found all installed software, but still it wont work.

No I'm not, mostly because I hardly play any other games than soldat, and I hang in IRC so I know when people are going to play.

Plus, Xfire is almost as evil as Micosoft.

Xfire isn't THAT evil.
