Well here I stand again infront of yew! With another map made by me!

This map is something special to me! It's my best and biggest map. So big I didnt have enough scenery so the map is kinda empty on some places. But the most interestinfg spots are filled with it.

So here's a litle story(this is getting popular):

It's 1996! You and your squad of soldiers are patroling the kambodia border. The jungles there are huge and still full of traps (thats why you already lost 2 privates who went to take a piss and never came back). The rest of your squad are skilled playe.. uh.. soldiers! You stay in the jungle for 3 days. Sudenly you realise your lost! One of those 2 magots had the map. You still remember when he said: "It'll take just a second!" when he went behind a tree to take his [:-censored]! You never saw him again. So you go through the jungle hoping to find the route back to the barrack's!
You've now been walking for 6 days! Finaly the trees turn to sky as you reach a clif! But you cant belive what you see! Two giant trees! inside the walley. You decide to take a break there and build a camp for future lost patrools...
After spending 2 days in there your ready to move on. You know where you are couse you remember ppl talking about this place so you head for home. But after packing up.. You realise that 1 of your soldiers is missing. Then you hear a terible scream! Another 1 of your soldiers is missing! What could it be! Some guerilla dude (TM)? Bounty hunters (PM)? A hero protecting the walley (RM)? Or maybe a predator from that film you've seen recently(lots and lots of predator bonuses)! You have to keep a cool head or else you might even start fighting eachother(DM)!

Whatever it is! It's your duty to kill it!

i like the fact that you don't makemaps in a half an hour, and then post it on the forums expecting not to be flamed.
and then you say " hey i did it in like an half an hour "
i'm very glad you don't do such things.

I got several scenery-gfx errors for some reasons:
church_out.bmp
mountainbackg.bmp
church_in.bmp
maria.bmp
grave1.bmp

Had to delete/rename the file in order to make this map to work.
The map itself looks quite good, although it would be way better without rain.
Being able to hide in the trees' trunks isn't what I'd call a good thing in a map. But that's not the worst part. You could make these tunnels visible, so that players don't camp in the trunks.
Why can't we shoot through the tree's leafs when sitting on the platforms on them? Also, why is one of these platforms deadly?
I like those trees anyway... they remind me of that CTF map "MiniGurilla". :)
Anyway, good job.

Hmmm... I guess I should have tested it before I released it.. Ah well..

I'll post the next version soon. With waypoints!
About the scenery errors? I have no idea! Couse I didnt use any of them.

Ppl can hide in the trees whatever you call it.. But they cant shoot out of it. I made that poly so that only bullets colide, for 1 reason. So ppl wont camp in there! The deadly poly... Uh.. I must have made that 1 by mistake and I fixed it already!

The rain should make the map better when playing a realistic DM, TM whatever! I'll test it today! And upload it tonight! Maybe even host a server...

BTW: Melba... Did u get any of those errors? Or any1 else?

If it's so bad.. I may consider deleting them all and placing them all over again...

Oh sorry Melb! I'll have some1 from SML waypoint it! Anyways..

Me and the guyz at SML have decided to run some SML servers where you'll be able to play SML maps(including, desert magic, inf_concrete moutain, ctf_wonderland and others!).

I found some bugs. I'll fix them and add some aditional scenery wich I forgot and smoothen the poly's! Then some1 will waypoint teh map!

Nice job, your story is pretty good too, you have an abdundence of imagination though....did you find anyone to waypoint it yet? If you didn't, I'll do it for you.

About the waypointing.. I posted on the SML forums and 1 of those 3 will certainly waypoint my map.. But hey! If they're too lazy I'll be glad to PM u!

I don't see why people have to add a story to a map.

..Anyways, map looks ok, would be nice if there would be a download link seeing as the title has (It's here! It's here!) *Rolls eyes* in it.

BTW: Hitman I said I have to get it waypointed before I post the 1.0 version! The first 1.0 version had too many bugs!

hey Droopy just a question, how did you make those large real-looking trees?, im assuming you made the trunk part polys and the stuck trees and bushes on it?

At the goody area? Or where...

The small tree's bellow the large 1's were made from 2 ploly's! Everything else u see is teh scenery...

The big 1's were polymade and took alot of time shading... Still need's some poly fixing... But I don't wana do it again and then w8 10 whole minutes for the map to compile! For real!

pfft, my Ctf_Anthill map took me 30 freaking minutes to compile, EACH TIME!! almost drove me crazy when one of the polys get all bouncy, and i have to do it again.

Why do we have to compile it again? So the map is playable or what? I never knew this for sure..
