My [:-censored]ing school has looked the soldat forums...

Is there anyway around the proxy server that likes to block my [:-censored]ing web page request please if anyone knows a way around this tell me, ive just lost the one thing the makes school the slighest bit interesting...

if you're on Internet Explorer, go to the Tools - internet options, then to the 'Connections', click 'LAN Settings' at the bottom, and there will be your proxy settings at the bottom of the new window.

Either remove it, or replace it with another proxy (which you can find on google), I suppose.

question: why can't your school look at the forums, what does it matter

they do it at my skl aswell

they also block any site that requires flash/active X or anything to do with animation etc

The schools using XP and they got the system down, you cant do [:-censored] with it.. But il give it a try ne way.

the only way you can get past good site blockers is a handy little tool i found called httpbridge:

pass: guest
then enter the url you want to go to (http://soldatforum.dnagames.net/)

i use this to look at erowid on TAFE college computers [:P]

note: if this doesnt work you may need to go into tools, internet options, (might have to click default level) then select medium (or lower) level security in order to accept the site certificate.

well just deinstall the blocker: in my school they don't block our webpages but they have this program where they can controle us with well we just deleted some files and vwalla;)

anyway heres a solution that used to work until our admin fixed it:
This only works with a login function and a network cable
Right, find the network cable for your computer
As you log in quickly unplug the network cable and wait until it has finished applying you personal settings. Plug it in again and you should be past the filters. At least, it worked for RM safty net. HE managed to fix it though but....what ever try it anywayz ^^

block the server it is possible, on this moment i do not remember but it is possible to overwrite the block and just get past the server our section that controles the server, i've overwritten it so many times and stole so many files from them if they knew they would get me to court
