Some people have been recommeding that I use shadeing in some of my maps... i was wondering how you do dat

when your in the map maker ull see 2 buttons 1 says darken and the other says lighten
click on darken once and drag your mouce pointer over your polygons to darken and do the same to lighten. :)

thats not a good method, you can use the function that allows you to set different colors for the 3 verticles. just pick darker colors where there should be shadow. its a lot of work, but the result is much better than with the method described in the previous post.

you can also learn from other maps, just open one with the mapmaker and watch how different polygons have different verticle colors.
