i was in a server yesterday with vash, and someone came in and bombarded us with the address of where everyone's been getting there hacks. he did it so much you couldnt miss it. half of the 24 person server PROMPTLY left, and the rest went in time. it was down to 6 of us discussing it. the same thing happened today, but a different person. apprently there are scouts who's main goal is to spred the evil that is plagueing soldat. this is going to be the end of it all. michal will give up soon, because they are too many too strong, and all the antihack will be for nothing. soldat will be like any other game, and michal'll prolly just hand out the source code. ive been with it amoung the longest, and i hate to see it go. R.I.P. Soldat.

Anti-Hackers Unite!!!! ...or something heroic to that effect.

Unsetteling event indeed, though.

I reported this once, but it was publicly. My mistake. I blurred everything out so no one could find out how to get to the site. The problem now is that the site is paid for by the owner, and it can't be taken down.

i was playing in a server when a hacker came in, and everyone left. that makes me feel good, cuz they didnt ask for hacks like most people do. :D
i talked with him for a while, and he said that the forum had not so many people posting, but was hosting some pretty bad hacks. [:-censored]ing Haro and Nuzz's hack has been mass-produced in such little time, and ive seen it 6 times today. this [:-censored] is rampant.
(not that im blaming them, they were cool guys, it's that one who we all know of)

i think it may be time to start up the old )H()H( clan from 1.05b agin...anyone wanna be a hacker hunter?

Wish I had the knowlege for knowing how to root problems like that out at the source, like fill hackers' computers up with a dandy package of trojans, backdoors and keyloggers. Ah, yeah, that would be nice.

i dont understand why u would want other people to have hacks when u already do..
seems like you would want to keep them for urself

maybe the hacks include trojan horses or backdoors so the hackers can spam the victems with porn and get htem in trouble :)

maybe its just for the attention and geting on the "favourite hacker of the year"

For me hacks are not really a problem since i play only with Friends. Dont really like playing with ppl i dont know, and especially hate the people who create some stupid rules on their servers and then bitch when someone (aka me) thinks its stupid for one reason or another and doesn't follow them. Like "you cant use this or that, no spawnkills and other things like that. The way i figure if its in the game (originally) its fair game. As for "no spawnkills i dont have time to stand there figuring out if the guy just spawned or not. I see something i shoot it. So thats y I play only with friends, at least with them we can agree on most things and usually everyone plays the way they want. The other problem is the excessive bitterness between players on multiplayer. PPL Swearing and flooding the game. I just dont like that. thats all i can think of for now...

just my 2 cents

Hacker hunters, eh? Sounds interesting. Give me a PM if you're serious. Or not. Or whatever. I'm interested, though.

Um...heres a thought, albeit not the greatest ideas in a legal sense, find the site, hack IT so that no-one can access the hacks...call it "counter hacking"

if any of you newbs played 1.05b, we would not be having this discussion.

stop whining and wait for the next version. A bunch of asshole hack, omg, boo [:-censored]ing hoo. Go to another server, or ignore the hacker until he leaves. Jesus christ, in 1.05b people hacked in every second server, you were lucky to play through the round without some asshole showing up with a hacked gun. And soldat is still alive isn't it?

I remember 1.05. It was back then that I only played amdmined servers. Yeah, they usually left when you blew out their anus with a barett several times in a row.

Bah, more 1.05b talk, always with the "back in my day" talk, you old timer! *kicks cane out from under BMF*

Lol, I always poke fun at the 1.05b days because I missed that version, in it's exclusive "up to date status" by about a month.

What BMF said.
Moreover, I still had not seen that happening in Europe.

Aye, this problem isnt as big as it seems i think, other games are much more affected. Take ev0l CS for example, the available Anticheat programs are updated once in 2-3 weeks cause always new hacks are being created. This seems to happen to every online game growing bigger, and i still only see very few cheaters on european servers. shortly before the last new server version, there were some more than usual. After its release the number went down to almost 0, maybe once in 2 weeks i encounter a hacker on some bad ping server.

The last one was a guy called -HK- Tales, who was actually stupid enough to get killed all the time although he used Spas reload and speedhack.
The most effective kind of getting rid of em, is talking with the others, what a lonely, stupid 10-year-old loser that hacker must be. They might stay for 2 or 3 more rounds then theyre usually gone.

We know this is a problem and we're dealing with it.
