Ok i was playing a game of soldat one day and was sniping on top af a big hill/mountain thingy :p and all of a sudden i died no one in sight, so i thaught what if u were at a high place in a thunder starm and got struck by lightning at random :)

2) it would be kick azz to be able to have airstrike cans like on rtcw enemy territory!!! along with smoke nades. :)

3)u should also be able to be a human timebomb and at the click of the mouse BOOM! u blow every one in a sertain radius away :)

Well I don't think those ideas are very valuable because they only would screw up the game mechanics and would only work on open maps.
Lightning - errr not that good of an idea :/
Airstrikes - we don't even have moving objects, that could be an airplane. would be kinda ... not so good too.
Timebomb - Take M79, run up to s/o and pull the trigger Kaboom! (No need ;)

I wouldnt mind running around and exploding myself....but I already do dat wit da law
